Agriculture and Food Authority Jobs 2023

The Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock Development is advertising the following positions:

  • Chairperson
  • Nominees
  • Marketing/Economics Status
  • ICT Personnel
  • Record Manager
  • Internship etc.

Requirements for AFA Recruitment 2023

  • The candidate must be a citizen of Kenya.
  • He or she must have a valid National ID or passport
  • The candidate applying should have relevant expertise qualifications and experience in the agricultural sector
  • The applicant should be a graduate of any Kenyan university that is accredited.
  • The applicant should possess knowledge of human resource management, agriculture, finance, law, administration, and any other field that the hiring authority deems pertinent.
  • The candidate needs to have spent at least six years in a senior management role.
  • The candidate should not have worked for the same organization as an employee during the five years prior.
  • The applicant must provide the following documents and fulfill the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution.
  • Ethics and Anti-corruption Commission Clearance Certificate
  • Kenya Revenue Authority Tax Compliance Certificate
  • Board Clearance Certificate for Higher Education Loans or evidence of continuous repayment
  • Certificate of Good Conduct issued by the National Police Service
  • Certificate of Clearance from the Credit Reference Bureau (CRB)
  • The candidate needs to be fit for the job both physically and medically.

Please take note that applicants for internships cannot be older than thirty.

AFA Recruitment Process

There are three primary phases to the hiring process at the Agriculture and Food Authority (AFA): (1) the application stage; (2) shortlisting; and (3) screening and employment.
