For the 74th regular NDA program, the Nigerian Defense Academy admission application forms are available online for purchase.

Beginning on Monday, October 25, 2021, candidates may submit an online application for the 74th regular Nigerian Defense Academy (NDA) course, Kaduna.

To begin the registration process, interested and qualified candidates must obtain an access code.

Before shortlisting candidates for the 74th Armed Forces Selection Board (AFSB) interview, the Nigerian Defense Academy (NDA) would wait for the results of JAMB 2022/2023.

NDA 74RC Registration Form Requirement and Qualifications 2023

The following requirements must be met to be admitted to the Nigerian Defense Academy:

  • The prospect must be physically and medically fit, as well as have a good moral character.
  • Must be a single male or female without any responsibility to support children or other individuals.
  • Obtain a Certificate of Indigeneity from the state government or local government.
  • By September of the year, you enroll in the Academy, you must be at least 17 years old and no older than 21.
  • A minimum of five ordinary-level credits in GCE, SSCE (WAEC, NECO, NBAIS, and NABTEB), English language, mathematics, and three other subjects necessary for the intended program must be earned by the applicant throughout no more than two sittings.
  • Must have passed the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examinations (UTME) and obtained an acceptable minimum national standard in English Language, Mathematics, and any other two subjects pertinent to the proposed course of study (as determined by JAMB Annual Policy Meeting).
  • A male must be 1.68 meters tall, and a female must be 1.65 meters tall.
  • Knowledge of French, Arabic, and Mandarin is an added advantage.

Note:

  • Applications without results at the average level won’t be accepted.
  • Candidates awaiting results are not qualified.
  • Results from exams at the ordinary level will only be accepted if they are less than five years old.
  • Only Nigerian citizens, male and female, are permitted admission to the Academy.

Steps to Apply for NDA 74RC Application Form 2023

Visit the application website at http://www.ndaapplications.net/ OR https://rcapplications.nda.edu.ng/. 

The application fee is N3,500.00 only.

Please be aware that the only RRR Codes that will be accepted for payment are those generated through the application portal.

NDA applicants must register for JAMB as well as NDA as their top choice of institutions. You must apply for the same course on JAMB and NDA. Applicants should sit for the Jamb unified tertiary matriculation examinations (UTME).

SUBMISSION OF APPLICATIONS:

Application forms must be submitted online along with scanned copies of the SSCE results. Candidates must download an Acknowledgement Form after submitting their online applications.

SCREENING TEST DATE AND REQUIREMENTS:

Phase one of the post-UTME screening will consist of the screening test, which is scheduled for, 2023. Therefore, all qualified applicants must bring TWO (2) postcard-sized (3.5 x 5 inches) photographs to the screening test center in addition to their Acknowledgement Form, Screening Test Admission Card, and JAMB result slip.

The candidate’s Name, Exam number, State, Exam Centre, Course of study, and Signature should be included at the back of the photographs, which should only be visible from the chest up.

Only those who pass the NDA Screening Test will then receive an invitation to the Armed Forces Selection Board (phase 2 of the screening test), after which the list of accepted candidates will be made public.

ADMINISTRATION:

The Federal Government of Nigeria will cover the cost of their administration and logistics, and all Regular Course cadets will train in NDA.

The Academy has made a Compendium of Past Questions & Answers available to interested candidates for a small fee in response to requests from candidates for reference materials. This can be purchased from the Registry, NDA.
