A federal government intervention fund called Survival Fund Program NG is available to assist Micro and Small Businesses (MSMEs). The grant will assist vulnerable MSMEs in meeting their payroll obligations and filling open positions with the unemployed.

To assist with the digital registration, onboarding, and management of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises for the Federal Government Survival Fund Program, the Federal Government MSME, CRM, & MIS platform survivalfund.gov.ng was created.

The program includes payroll support, guaranteed off-take, and an MSME grant. Inventory management for the Guaranteed Offtake Scheme will be made possible by the CRM & MIS Platform.

This program is part of the Economic Sustainability Plan, which aims to support and protect these businesses from the potential vulnerabilities brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Payroll Support Scheme is aimed at MSMEs adversely affected by the pandemic. For each eligible MSME, the program will offer Payroll Support to up to 10 employees.

The three categories into which the program is split are as follows:

Payroll support will be made available through the MSME Payroll Support Scheme, a survival fund, to preserve local production and save jobs.

MSME Grant – The credit support to MSMEs and priority sectors will give key industries affected by the pandemic access to affordable financing and allow an expansion of manufacturing capacity in those industries.

One of the Federal Government’s economic support programs for micro and small businesses affected by the pandemic is the MSME Guaranteed Offtake Scheme.

The prerequisites for the Guaranteed Offtake Scheme, MSME Grant, and MSME Payroll Support programs are listed below.

Basic Requirements for Survival Fund Registration

Applicants need to take note of the requirements for this federal government grant. Before beginning the online registration process, make sure you have everything you need.

You must be a Nigerian
You must have a verified Bank Verification Number (BVN)
Your CAC (Cooperate Affairs Commission) registration is required.
Your business must be indigenous
You must have three GOs and at least 10 active employees on his payroll.

Methodologies to Apply for the Survival Fund Program

The application portal for the survival fund is currently open, and the process is fairly simple. You can follow the registration process in the steps below.

Step One: Register

To be part of the Federal Government Survival Fund Program, you need to register with your business or personal details via the official registration portal. You will need some basic information, such as the specifics of your CAC registration, to complete this.

Step Two: Onboard

After completing your platform registration, finish the onboarding process by adding your organization’s, employees, and bank information.

Upon registration, you will receive an activation code on your registered phone number. To activate your account, you must enter the activation code that was sent to you.

Use a password you can remember, and make sure your mobile number is visible.

Step Three: Get Paid

You will receive your payment under the requested scheme once your application has been verified successfully.

To register for the Survival Fund Program through the Survival Fund portal, simply follow the steps listed below.

Visit the official Survival Fund Registration Portal via https://survivalfund.gov.ng/
Click “Sign Up.”
Select your Registration Type (MSME Payroll Support, MSME Grant, or Guaranteed Offtake Scheme)
Press-Register.
Supply all the required information
Submit your application

If your application met the requirements for the program you applied for, you will be eligible for payment in accordance with its terms.

Please be aware that there is no cost to register for the 2023 FG MSME CRM and MIS Platform business survival fund.

The registration deadline for the 2023 Survival Fund has not yet been made public. We will let you know once it is disclosed.

Kindly note that the Federal Government may choose not to extend the signup process once the registration deadline is over. So if you want to be on the safe side, then ensure you apply before the deadline.
