Are applications for the NDF Recruitment 2023 open?

The Namibian Defence Force (NDF) plans to increase its membership by between 1400 and 1600 people during the fiscal year 2023–2024 with the help of the NDF Recruitment Planning Committee.

The Ministry of Defence and Veterans Affairs earlier this month sent regional governors and council members a letter that contained this information.

The letter states that the distribution of new members among the regions has been settled upon, with the Khomas region receiving 141 positions, the Ohangwena and Omusati regions receiving 119 positions each, and the remaining 11 regions receiving 111 positions each.

Marginalized communities are given slots as well, and the regional governors are kindly asked to deliver all application forms from these communities after the deadline to the deputy minister of marginalized communities’ office in Windhoek, according to the letter.

According to Executive Director of Defense Wilhemina Shivute, between 1400 and 1600 trainees will once again be recruited by the Namibian Defense Force.

Step 2: Fill in the application form

Once you have the application form, you must accurately fill it out. List your name, contact information, educational background, and employment history. You must also include the contact information for two referees and your next of kin.

Step 3: Submit the application form

You must deliver the application to the nearby NDF Recruitment Office after completing it. Make sure to include all necessary paperwork, such as certified copies of your identity document, medical certificate, and grade 12 certificates.

Step 4: Wait for the response

You will have to wait for a response from the NDF Recruitment Office after submitting your application. If your application is accepted, you will receive an invitation to take additional exams and interviews.
