The National Directorate of Employment will only accept applicants who satisfy the requirements listed below.

- Must have earned at least five credits in the West African Senior School Certificate (WASSCE), National Examination Council (NECO), and General Certificate of Education (GCE) in no more than two sittings. Credit in English is compulsory
- Candidates with a problematic criminal history, excluding traffic violations, will not be hired by this organization.
- Interested candidates must have good communication skills
- A valid form of identification, such as a driver’s license, national identification card, passport, or voter card, is required of all candidates.

- Any related field and a recognized university-issued HND, B.Sc., NCE, or OND certificate are acceptable.
