The Civil Defence Guarantor Form 2023
In order to be considered for an appointment, a candidate must present two (2) guarantors who are credible, trustworthy, and acceptable according to the Civil Defence recruitment process.
You must present the guarantor form during the NSCDC screening process, and it must be duly signed by the people we’ve listed below. They should attest to your good character and behavior.
Many applicants have yet to download the Civil Defence Force guarantor form, and as a result, the search for the form has increased, rendering the recruitment portal unresponsive.

The Civil Defence Qualified Guarantors
All applicants must download, print, and properly complete this form in order to take part in the screening process. The individuals listed below are expected to complete and sign the NSCDC guarantor form.
Any personality type other than those listed below won’t be accepted by the police force. The acceptable guarantors are listed below.
- Civil Servant not below the rank of Grade Level 12
- Local Government Chairman
- Traditional Rulers
- Heads of Educational Institutions attended
- Police Officers not below the rank of CSP or Military Officers not below the rank of Lieutenant Colonel.
- Magistrate
Please take note that the Civil Defence Force will not accept any other guarantors who do not hold the aforementioned ranks. Additionally, you are cautioned against completing the guarantor form on your own as this could result in disqualification.
All applicants who submitted an application for the 2023 Civil Defence recruitment must complete the Civil Defence Guarantor Form. It is one of the records needed for the Civil Defense inspection.
A candidate’s name won’t appear on the final NSCDC list of shortlisted candidates if he or she neglects to show up with the guarantor form during the NSCDC screening date.

Steps to Download the Civil Defence Guarantor Form 2023
The steps listed below can be used to download the Civil Defence recruitment guarantor form.
Visit the official recruitment portal via https://interior.gov.ng/nigeria-security-and-civil-defense-corp/ and enter your registration details in the spaces provided.
Click “Download Guarantor Form” when your profile appears, and the form will download to your device. You can then print it out by going to the nearby cybercafé.

As one of the necessary documents for screening, all candidates are expected to have a hard copy of the NSCDC guarantor form that has been properly signed. Failure to present the guarantor form during the NSCDC physical screening means you have declined the offer.
